At Ageas Retail, we’re simplifying the way we work through an exciting three-year strategic plan. With many critical changes afoot, we need a skilled Facilities Controller to support our business in supplier partnerships and contracts as it continues to grow and evolve.
Drawing on your background in facilities, you’ll tackle contract management and budget control within Facilities across our Bournemouth and Belfast sites. As our in-house Facilities Controller, key to the role is maintaining and developing great relationships with suppliers to ensure they deliver as planned, in line with contractual terms. This means keeping in close contact with each supplier and securing the most competitive prices through effective negotiation. You’ll then prepare contracts and purchase orders that comply with policies and regulations. Cost control is vital because you’ll be Facilities Managers by keeping a close eye on budgets and preparing financial reports. Through your efforts, all Facilities activities will be delivered on budget and in line with financial procedures.
What you’ll need to bring
- You’ve worked in facilities before, handling supplier partnerships and managing contracts.
- You’ll know how to deal with a variety of stakeholders, both within and outside the business.
- Articulate with a head for figures, you’ll be as good at negotiating as you are at controlling budgets.
- You’re also organised and a natural problem solver who thrives on multi-tasking.
- If you can bring an eye for detail, strong Excel skills and a can-do attitude too – you’ll have what it takes to succeed.
